Though I haven’t run with Todd for many years, he is almost always with me on my runs. He gently urges me along on the tough places and laughs with me on the breezy easy places. Sometimes I find myself smiling or even laughing as I think of things he would say or do. Now and then he stops me for a moment or two to look at trees. In each tree, be it familiar or newly found, Todd points out its beauty and dignity. How wonderful it is to be reminded of Todd in such ways. For me,

We met Todd when he and Kay first moved to Greenville. We were fortunate that Jennifer Hurley helped us get connected. Over the past 8-9 years we spent many fun hours exploring the area together-especially on walking and hiking trails and almost always including a meal or picnic or dessert. Sometimes the 4 of us walked together and sometimes we hiked with Greenville Newcomers. Todd was always good to teach me about the trees we saw. He pointed out when you cross over the Libe

I met Todd when he and Kay moved to Greenville. We became good friends. Todd was a great man with a kind, caring, and gentle spirit. He loved his family deeply and was always a joy to be around. Todd was very intelligent and always interested and ready to learn new things. Our shared interest in WWII history led to many great discussions. I enjoyed our numerous hikes through the woods and valued our friendship. I will miss him.

When I think of Todd, the words that come to mind are kind, caring, dedicated. I enjoyed our get togethers when you and Kay would pass through New Jersey in more recent years. So many great memories over the years. I feel lucky to have had you as my brother in law. Those who touch our lives, stay in our hearts forever.❤️

Todd’s deep love and appreciation for family has always been clear to me. I am so grateful he welcomed me into his family from the very start. He was an amazing husband, father, father-in-law, and Pop Pop. I will miss him and love him always. ❤️

Todd was a great brother-in-law: kind, friendly and funny. It’s hard to realize we won’t share his company again. Thank goodness for the memories.

In all ways, always, Todd was; intelligent, caring, funny, interested in others, athletic, loving, and true to his word. Todd was a giant. I will miss him.

Couldn’t have asked for a better father-in-law. Thank you for welcoming me into your family. For always being kind and caring. I will miss seeing the amazement on your face when you came across a rare tree and talking to you about what vegetables I decided to grow every year in my garden. I will miss long walks and hikes in Vermont with you, Daghjve and Kay and getting creemees afterwards. Thank you for sharing and sparking a love of ships in me. Thank you for teaching me so

Uncle Todd hanging with us as I did my first deep frying of a turkey for Thanksgiving(I was nervous). We shared a ton of laughs and I’ll remember him just admiring the large trees in my property. Always enjoyed his company. At Quinn’s graduation. It was always great to see him. A beautiful soul who just showed you love and positivity. The famous turkey cheese ball! A Thanksgiving staple!

He is my idol and role model for a father. Honest, sincere and lived his life with with the most humble integrity. He could tell you the species of a plant and how to care for it seconds after seeing it, knew the details of some obscure WW2 battle, fix anything around the house even if he didn't have the right tools and somehow pulling his finger worked every time. The greatest man I will ever know.

To get up at 2am and run out into the cold winter. I tried it, might not be for me. Dad liked those challenges. He can be seen after enjoying a hot bowl of oats. Dad set and achieved goals. I have always learned from him and followed where I could. I miss our conversations.

My big brother.... Todd was the big Brother I always looked up to, so many things he taught me over the years and so many things we shared. Todd was not only my big brother, but was always there as my best friend. He was the sole reason I became a tree man and have practiced aboriculture for 50 years. From the first day I saw him up in a tree, I knew I wanted to be like Todd and that was my calling. We were partners in the tree business for well over 25 years, whether it was

Todd was a beautiful man. Always kind. Thoughtful. Empathetic. Caring. Loved his family. Listened carefully and asked insightful questions to help the speaker. A tremendous athlete. One with nature. An educator. Always made me feel special...he was special! So blessed to have him in our lives. He was a precious soul and will be deeply missed. Love to all the family members. David.
